I had a great session taking family portraits in Holt, MO. This client contacted me recently to take family portraits on their family property. They had part of the family who lives out of state. So, getting everyone together on tight schedules was critical. I was happy to get them into my schedule and make it happen! I will always try my best to accommodate busy schedules. I am always flexible and open to help you achieve your photo session goals.

The weather was a little questionable, with periodic rain most of the day. It was comfortably cool for an October afternoon. Thankfully, though, the rain stopped shortly after I arrived to the location. I walked around the property to check out locations. We chose a few locations with some interesting trees and wood fence lines. They wanted pictures of the whole family, then each individual family, some mixes between, and with their family pets.

They also wanted some photos with team jerseys. I, myself, am a Kansas City Chiefs fan. So, getting to take photos of a family that enjoys this as a group was fun. Every family has “those” members that like other teams, and that makes it all the more fun. They each had some ideas for shots, and I took every one of them. I always like to encourage my clients to let me know their thoughts. That way I can make sure we get everything covered in their session time.

Overall, I think these came out great, and it was a good session. Below are just some of the highlights from their session.
